Specification for use of butyl adhesive for insulating glass

Hollow glass butyl adhesive is a single component of polyisobutene rubber as the base material, no solvent, no fog, no vulcanization, with permanent plasticity of hollow glass sealant. Hot melt butyl sealant in a wide temperature range to maintain its plasticity and sealing, and the surface does not crack, the same hard. Because of its very low water vapor transmittance, it can be used in conjunction with elastomer sealant to form an excellent moisture resistance system. Features: Good sealing effect, easy quality assurance; No curing period, save floor space, reduce production costs; It is an environmentally friendly product with no waste and clean environment.

Insulating glass butyl adhesive is a necessary sealant for the first sealing of insulating glass made of two-component polyurethane sealant, two-component polysulfide sealant, two-component silicone sealant and insulating glass hot melt adhesive. According to the size of insulating glass butyl rubber coater, different specifications of insulating glass butyl rubber are selected. When making insulating glass with insulating glass butyl glue, we should pay attention to:

1. Clean the insulating glass aluminum spacer for later use.

2. Put the butyl hot melt sealant into the extruder cylinder and preheat it to 130-140℃. After the thermostat is kept constant, the rubber strip is played to check the uniform and continuous line, and the rubber strip is applied to the insulating glass aluminum partition slot.

3. The insulating glass is finished after the outer sealant is coated and cured.

4. When using imported fast gluing machine, the temperature of the rubber cylinder should be increased by 10-15℃, and the extrusion pressure should be adjusted from 150Mpa to 170-200mpa, and the rubber strip should be uniform.

Note: when taking butyl hot melt sealant, the hands should be clean, and the surface of the glue should not be touched with dust, oil and solvents (such as acetone, gasoline, etc.). When gluing, you can wear gloves that do not shed hair and apply the operation. Be careful of scalding when touching hot glue. Gloves that touch glue should be clean and free of burrs or other contaminants that are easy to stick to glue. Butyl hot melt sealant should be controlled below 160℃ when gluing, and it is strictly prohibited to gluing above 170℃ to avoid glue aging and decomposition. 【 the 】
